Water & Sewer Service
Water/Sewer Service: A form must be completed for all new and/or changes to the water and sewer accounts at the Richland Township Administration Building, 1180 North Hemlock Road. Water and sewer is billed quarterly based on usage due by the 20th with late fees added after the due date. For residential customers water is $2.62 per thousand gallons; ready to serve fees are $39.17 per quarter; sewer is $38.80 (under 10,000 gallons of water used) or $3.88 per thousand (over 10,000 gallons of water used).

3/4" meter - $33.04 per quarter
1" meter - $82.60 per quarter
1 1/4" meter - $132.16 per quarter
1 /1/2" meter - $165.20 per quarter
2" meter - $264.32 per quarter
3" meter - $495.61 per quarter
4" meter - $826.01 per quarter
5" meter - $1,652.02 per quarter
6" meter - $2,643.37 per quarter
Commodity Charger of $2.17 per thousand (1,000 gallons) used.
Capital Debt Charge of $30.67
Effective April 1, 2021, residential customers water if $2.62 per thousand gallons. All other water fees will stay the same.
Water Conservation ---
1/16" leak at 60 PSI wastes about 24,600 gallons a month (1/16" is about the size of a ballpoint pin tip)
1/8" leak is not two times more, it is four times more, about 98,600 gallons in a month
1/4" leak will waste almost 394,000 gallons in a month
