The Richland Township Supervisor is Joel F. Wardin.

Richland Township has five elected Board Members with an appointed, professional manager.  Richland Township is 36 square miles with a population of 4460.  There is one parochial private elementary school located in Richland Township.  Hemlock Public Schools provide k-12, adult education and community education programs.
