CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission Public Hearing was called to order at 7:03 P.M by Chairman Bauer with the Pledge to the Flag.

PUBLIC HEARING: The Public Hearing was being held relative to the Proposed Zoning Changes/Amendments included on the agenda. Notice of the Hearing was published in The Township Times and sent to neighboring properties as required. (List attached) Questions were received and answered.

ADJOURN HEARING: Motion by Frederick Clark, second David H. Schafer, to adjourn the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Public Hearing adjourned - 7:57 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:57 P.M by Chairman Bauer.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Gary Turner, second by Bernard Neuenfeldt, the Minutes of July 24, 2007 to be approved and filed as written. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

INSPECTION REPORT: Motion by Frederick Clark, second by David H. Schafer, to receive and file the Inspection Report for the month of August 2007. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

ZONING ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: None.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

OLD BUSINESS -

FINAL REVIEW/APPROVAL OF ZONING CHANGES & AMENDMENTS:

Fred Clark has requested to abstain from this discussion and vote due to his property being listed on agenda.

Motion by Grant Rames, second by David H. Schafer, to adopt all zoning changes to be made as printed. (5) yeas; (0) nays; (1) abstain. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS -

RECOMMEND FINAL ADOPTION OF (INTERIM) ZONING ORDINANCE:

Motion by Gary Turner, second by Frederick Clark, to recommend to the Richland Township Board to adopt the proposed language as amended and revised to the Richland Township Ordinance. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

Motion by David H. Schafer, second by Frederick Clark, to recommend to the Richland Township Board final adoption of the Interm Zoning ordinance to be adopted permanently. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Supervisor Wardin, thanked the Planning Commission for all their hard work involved with the Zoning Ordinance changes.

ADJOURNMENT: Motion by David H. Schafer, second by Gary Turner, to adjourn. Unanimous vote. Meeting adjourned – 8:11 P.M.
