CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission Public Hearing was called to order at 7:00 P.M by Chairman Clark.PUBLIC HEARING: The Public Hearing was being held Special Use Permit L & L Zeitler, 15380 Gratiot Rd, parcel number 22-12-2-27-1002-001 Sand Excavation & Top Soil Restoration. The property is zoned A-2. Notice of the Hearing was published in The Township Times and sent to neighboring properties as required. The Zeitler's have contracted with Fisher Contracting. Mike Yenoir with Fisher Contracting was available for questions. Questions were received and answered. ADJOURN HEARING: Motion by Bernard Neuenfeldt, second by Brian Frederick, to adjourn the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Motion carried. Public Hearing adjourned - 7:15 P.M.CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission Public Hearing was called to order at 7:15 P.M by Chairman Clark. PUBLIC HEARING: The Public Hearing was being held Special Use Permit Donna L. Turner, 81 Chandra Lane, parcel number 22-12-2-25-1006-000 Accessory Occupation, Automobile Detailing. Notice of the Hearing was published in The Saginaw News and neighboring properties as required. The property is zoned R-1. Mr. Tom Seaver was available for questions stating the use is for car washing, waxing and interior vacuuming, also to remove and install vehicle radios and speakers. Questions were received and answered. ADJOURN HEARING: Motion by Brian Frederick, second by Bernard Neuenfeldt, to adjourn the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. Motion carried. Public Hearing adjourned - 7:30 P.M.CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 P.M by Chairman Clark with the Pledge to the Flag.MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Brian Frederick, second by David H. Schafer, the Minutes of May 6, 2008 to be approved and filed as written. Unanimous vote. Motion carried. INSPECTION REPORT: Motion by Bernard Neuenfeldt, second by Brian Frederick, to receive and file the Inspection Report for the month of May 2008. Unanimous vote. Motion carried. ZONING ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: Currently working on a land split on OHara Road. Still sending out letters for unlicensed vehicles. Looking into concerns about portable signs at trailer park and downtown district. Still reviewing new revisions of Zoning Map from SAGA. Motion by Walter Rohn, second by Brian Frederick, to receive and file the Zoning Administrators verbal report as submitted. Unanimous vote. Motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. OLD BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: SPECIAL USE PERMIT ZEITLER Sand Excavation & Top Soil Restoration: Motion by David H. Schafer, second by Bernard Neuenfeldt, to grant the Special Use Permit Zeitler, 15380 Gratiot Road, parcel number 22-12-2-27-1002-001, with the following condition: Contractor or property owner will pay ten cents ($0.10) per yard of sand removed from the site in to comply with Richland Township Resolution 2008-08. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.SPECIAL USE PERMIT TURNER Accessory Occupation, Automobile Detailing: Motion by Brian Frederick, second by Gary Turner, to grant the Special Use Permit Turner, 81 Chandra Lane, parcel number 22-12-2-15-1006-000, with the following conditions: Building has to have final approval on electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits. No outside storage of unlicensed or inoperative vehicles. No commercial sale of vehicles. Owner will apply for permit if a sign is to be installed. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.
