CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Clark called the regular meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission to order at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge to the Flag.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Matt Kackmeister, second by
Bernard Neuenfeldt, the Minutes of July 5, 2011 be approved and filed as printed. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.


INSPECTION REPORT: Motion by Brian Frederick, second by Matt Kackmeister, to receive and file the Inspection Report for the months of July, August and September 2011. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

ZONING ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: Zoning Administrator Rames stated letters have been sent regarding fencing, signs, and contiguous garage and car sales; working on land divisions and site plans for ponds.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS:

PROPOSED MEDICAL MARIHUANA LANGUAGE: Zoning Administrator Rames submitted three proposals regarding medical marihuana. Discussion held. Topics of discussion included enforcement, primary care givers, confidentiality.

As recommended by Chairman Clark, motion by Bernard Neuenfeldt, second by Matt Kackmeister, to table for further study and refer all proposals for an opinion from the Township Attorney. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.
