The Richland Township Zoning Administrator is Kim Reiss. Kim is available at the Richland Township Administration Office every Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The basic function of the Planning Commission is to make and adopt a plan for the township's land use development. The Planning Commission is required to review any plats, subdivisions, site plans or special use permits.
Effective August 2012, the Richland Township Planning Commission will meet the first Wednesday of the month, 7:00 P.M., at the Richland Township Administration Office, 1180 North Hemlock Road, unless otherwise posted..

Richland Township's Future
NOTICE: Richland Township will be enforcing Section 402 (9) of the Zoning Ordinance. Storage of dismantled, wrecked and/or unlicensed vehicles is expressly prohibited unless contained in an enclosed structure. Violations of the Zoning Ordinance are municipal civil infractions and are subject to a civil fine in accordance with the schedule issuing tickets to violators from $50 to the first offense up to $500 for further offenses plus costs incurred. Violators will be notified by mail.
