CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the Richland Township Board of Trustees was called to order by Supervisor Kreger at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge to the Flag.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Brian R. Frederick, second by Christine Beckrow, to approve and file Minutes of December 9, 2008 as written. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

BILLS: Motion by Daniel Preuss, second by John Gudaitis, to pay the bills as listed, total of $59,503.91. Roll call vote: Gudaitis, Yes; Frederick, Yes; Preuss, Yes; Kreger, Yes; Beckrow, Yes. (5) yeas, (0) nays. Motion carried.

REPORTS: Motion by Christine Beckrow, second by Daniel Preuss, to receive and file the following written reports: Financial/Transaction, Police/Fire Annual, Park, Planning, Board of Review, Zoning Boards of Appeals, Library and Township Manager’s. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Comments and questions were received and answered.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS -

EXTEND DUE DATE – 2008 WINTER TAX:

Motion by Brian R. Frederick, second by Christine Beckrow, to extend the 2008 winter tax from February 14^th to February 28^th, 2009, payable without late penalties. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

RESOLUTION 01-2009, BANK OF AMERICA:

Motion by Christine Beckrow, second by Daniel Preuss, by Resolution 01-2009, the following was offered: the Township of Richland designates Bank of America, depository of this municipality authorizing the following officers of this municipality to sign without inquiry as to the circumstances of issues of the deposition of the proceeds thereof on behalf of Richland Township: Treasurer Preuss, Clerk Beckrow, Deputy Treasurer Coulson, and Deputy Clerk, Letts. Roll call vote: Frederick, Yes; Preuss, Yes; Kreger, Yes; Beckrow, Yes; Gudaitis. (5) yeas, (0) nays. Motion carried.

RESOLUTION 02-2009, CHEMICAL BANK:

Motion by Christine Beckrow, second by Daniel Preuss, by Resolution 02-2009, the following was offered: the Township of Richland designates Chemical Bank, depository of this municipality authorizing the following officers of this municipality to sign without inquiry as to the circumstances of issues of the deposition of the proceeds thereof on behalf of Richland Township: Treasurer Preuss, Clerk Beckrow, Deputy Treasurer Coulson, and Deputy Clerk, Letts. Roll call vote: Preuss, Yes; Kreger, Yes; Beckrow, Yes; Gudaitis; Frederick, Yes. (5) yeas, (0) nays. Motion carried.

Motion by Brian R. Frederick, second by Christine Beckrow, to enter into the Agreement for Services with Saginaw Future, Inc. for calendar year 2009 for $1,000.00, authorizing Supervisor Kreger and Clerk Beckrow to sign on behalf of Richland Township. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE: Written correspondence was received and filed.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Comments and questions were received and answered.
